Booking.com has communicated that there is no connectivity issue with Hospitable.com, and has requested that any hosts which see missing guest messages that were sent as a reply to an email should contact their customer support.
Our recommendation is also to please be sure that you have everything setup correctly so that there is only 1 special request contact created, and it is the unique one provided by us.

After further investigation, it has been determined that there was no further impact related to the update from our lock integration partner which triggered the emails to be sent.

The communication issue between internal services has been fixed and all codes for new reservations can be created successfully.
Additionally, we triggered a resync of all matched locks to ensure codes for all reservations are created.

We have identified a small number of users who have been able to abuse our APIs, sending large amounts of traffic to our API causing a number of intermittent errors to occur. We have taken steps to further protect ourselves, and the application, moving forward.
